I’ve been nursed by film. I played in it, I studied it, I made a living from it for years as a director. Nevertheless, today I devote myself to photography. The moving pictures stopped moving for me. And it suits me today.

I have been taking pictures since childhood. I photograph the world around me. There's no other way...

What interests me about photography is not so much capturing reality, but rather how to capture reality in such a way that reality can become an abstraction or a kind of visual puzzle that enriches the viewer's own vision of the world. But in photography I am also interested in people. So from time to time I go into more documentary photography. Sometimes it is called street photography.
